Course Overview: Asset Management
This course is designed to help property managers understand the vital role of an asset manager in the commercial real estate industry and how property management interrelates with asset management. Facility managers will find that the day-to-day management of buildings closely ties into property management, with the terms often being interchangeable throughout the course.
Participants will gain insights into measuring financial performance and conducting critical due diligence for both the acquisition and disposition of assets. The course also addresses the unique challenges of managing troubled real estate owned (REO) properties and provides guidance on selecting and overseeing a property management firm.
